Piercing Aftercare

Aftercare is an extremely important step in insuring your piercing lasts a lifetime! Oral and written aftercare will be provided during your appointment.

Clean your piercing twice a day with sterile saline wound wash.

First, wash your hands. Then spray each side of your piercing with sterile saline wound wash. Inspect your piercing - if you notice any build up, spray a q-tip with saline and gently use it to remove debris. Dry the area thoroughly with clean paper towel or sterile gauze.

Things to avoid:

Touching your piercing with dirty hands
Sleeping on your piercing
Swimming
Spinning, twisting or moving jewelry
Going to bed with wet hair resting against the piercing

Things to do:

At the end of every shower, rinse the piercing under warm, running shower water for 3-5 minutes.
Keep an eye out for any bumps, lumps, irritation, etc.
